ive installed debian during the weekend on an compaq proliant 800 with a
smart-2sl RAID card.
the problem is that the installation-program has any support f�r the
RAID-card, so i had to by hand tell the installprogram where to install,
like this:
mkdir /dev/ida
mknod /dev/ida/c0d0 b 72 0
mknod /dev/ida/c0d0p1 b 72 1
mknod /dev/ida/c0d0p2 b 72 2
and so on
after that it worked greate.
sorry for my bad english and hope it make any sence :)
