Package: dpkg
Version: 1.16.14.deb

When trying to install Debian 2.2 for i386 on my Cyrix Powered PC, I had
numerous problems. Not being able to obtain a Rescue disk from the
download site, which is another story, I finally got the CD that I
obtained from Edmunds Enterprises to start the install by using a Rescue
disk from the previous installation, Debian 2.1.
When it came time to load the Base packages, I started receiving an
error message that: "The CDROM was not properly mounted". There after
the install would not continue. There were other errors reported
previously to this one, but that is still anouther story.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Sullivan
