What is the long term future with modconf, seems that the
debian-installer, modconf and kernel-package are all pretty much
intertwined.
If we could get kernel-package to use debconf that would suit us for the
installer and do modconf's job.
That said kernel-package is in perl, of which im pretty hopeless.
