Hello, why I must have a real IP to access to the Debian's CVS?

This is the error message
(CVSROOT=:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/debian-boot)

[carlos@carlos debian]$ cvs login
(Logging in to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server cvs.debian.org: Connection reset
by peer

This error is from my work computer that has a firewall and NAT, but
from an external machine it's all right...

I don't understand why it happens, because I can download modules from
other CVS servers as, for example, GNOME.

Ideas?
