No -- for i386, you need the following all to be sync'd up:
kernel-image
kernel-image-ide
kernel-image-idepci
kernel-image-compact
pcmcia-cs (you can see the pcmcia-cs version in the pcmcia-modules versions)
pcmcia-modules
pcmcia-modules-ide
pcmcia-modules-idepci
pcmcia-modules-compact
2.2.19pre17 fails this, thus we cannot use that kernel version yet.
