Comments/Problems:
Installation was fine other than setting up Xorg. When I first booted into the
system the login window didn't display correctly. The leftmost 15% of the
screen was fine but the rest was black, with a horizontal bar appearing across
the middle of the screen.
I solved this by running dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg and accepting all of the
default answers (as I didn't understand most of the questions). I then
restarted X and the display was fine.

Given that your installation was a complete success, I do as
usual with reports for successful installations: I close the bug..:-)
This does not of course mean you weren't right to report. Knowing the
installations are correct is important for the d-i team.
Many thanks for your time testing the Debian Installer and reporting
your results. Have fun with your new Debian system!
PS: the xorg issue pertains to the xorg package more than D-I, which
explains why we consider this is a 100% success...
