No, it's not a bug. > and i know, > > read doc..; > > i read the doc B > > and i don't agree with you, doc has not copious informations : > the only information about partitionning is : > ### Partitioning > # If the system has free space you can choose to only partition that space. > #d-i partman-auto/init_automatically_partition select biggest_free > > do you think this has copious about init_automatically_partition ? It would help if you read a little bit further rather than misquoting what I said ... partman-auto/init_automatically_partition is *not* normally the question that you want to preseed in order to perform automatic partitioning; normally, you would instead preseed partman-auto/disk and partman-auto/method, and perhaps either partman-auto/choose_recipe or partman-auto/expert_recipe if you aren't satisfied with the default partition layout. The only case in practice where you'd want to preseed partman-auto/init_automatically_partition is that documented in the installation guide, quoted above, where you want to automatically partition only free space on a disk that already contains other partitions. If you need detailed information on the format of partman-auto/expert_recipe, it's here: http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/d-i/trunk/installer/doc/devel/partman-auto-recipe.txt?op=file&rev=0&sc=0 Regards, -- Colin Watson [[email protected]] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
