tags 398813 unreproducible thanks (old chosse-mirror bug)
It seems that choose-mirror properly times out when the requested mirro host is offline. I just confirmed that. wget (on console 4) properly tmed out when I specified a server that's offline. I think the bug submitter very probably went on another transitory error but I can't reproduce this bug anymore. --
