reassign 289831 os-prober thanks grub-installer gets the root device from os-prober. I looked through it's changelog but couldn't find a hint that this problem is solved now. This report is now over 4 years old, but maybe you still have a 2nd Linux installed and you could try out if the current debian-installer still has this problem? -- Felix Zielcke
