As I understand it, en_AU and en_NZ use words from both iamerican and ibritish with no easy rules about which when. So, I suspect having both ibritish and iamerican by default will give a much better coverage than iamerican alone. I know almost nothing about en_IN and en_ZA and I'm not too clear on ispell's workings either.
