When installing Debian testing using the current netboot.tar.gz, the installer does not actually set up the user or its password, nor the root password, even though it says it does. When I try to log in after the installation, it says that the user I told the installer to set up does not exist and it doesn't accept the root password. In order to actually set up any of this, I have to boot Debian through single-user mode and set up the user(s) and the passwords (including root's) manually.
