I'd like to apply a patch to partman-basicfilesystems which reads the UUID out of a swap partition before formatting it and then puts it back. This is important because it's a lot faster to just create a new swap partition from scratch than to check that it's valid, so d-i just creates it from scratch every time; but this breaks any installation that refers to its swap partition using a UUID. The easiest way to do this appears to be using 'dd conv=notrunc', but that's not enabled in busybox-udeb. Could you please set CONFIG_FEATURE_DD_IBS_OBS=y?
