This bug report was filed right after this change was made in debootstrap 0.3.3:
- devices.tar.gz reduced to minimal set of devices; frontends should
setup udev or supply their own devices or similar in future
Dropping the other devices doesn't seem to have caused much trouble,
5 years on. Mostly we mount --bind /dev chroot/dev, or run MAKEDEV
in the chroot to get devices we need.
Not closing this bug report though.
