-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The d-i manual in file preseed.po has several msgids like these:
msgid "debian-installer/framebuffer" msgid "language" msgid "debian-installer/language" msgid "country" msgid "debian-installer/country" It seems to me debian-installer/framebuffer is a name of a variable in the installer user interface, and should not be translated. More difficult to know whether to translate or not are those plain language, country etc. msgids. Since the appear in the middle of the debian-installer/* msgids, I guess they too are names of something. If indeed these should not be translated, is it possible to get them marked as such in the original text to get them removed from the .po file? Or perhaps add comment to explain what the translator should do with them? - -- Tapio Lehtonen [email protected] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkvgK0gACgkQ5TuKppZVLWM6hQCfQJrVMd68xEVRiBTUTf1Q5JUU sEQAn1rgvYOaz6G/8NBzv4ITNHNBw034 =O9aS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
