I did not enter a wrong URL first, but accepted URL that the installation program suggested. That URL is correct.
I partly got it to work by first downloading a basedebs file and trying to install from that. It then complained about a missing .deb file, and then I tried again with network install. It sucesfully downloaded some files, but it gave an error (Error code 1). I will try if I can narrow it down somewhat. -- Wouter Verheijen -----Original Message----- From: Glenn McGrath [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: dinsdag 23 oktober 2001 11:09 To: Verheijen, W.J.A.; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Bug#116757: Getting the base system over HTTP fails I believe this is the same bug as debootsraps #116393 If you get the url wrong the first time wget downloads the html error page and saves this as the release file. When you retry a different url it uses the old error page as the release file, it should delete it. Glenn -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
