Thanks for the tip (I expected parameters would appears earlier in d-i manual, so didn't notice the 2 lines in toc). So, the problem was it Hercule's E-café uses AMD Geode L/G? ship. so, bug #443979 explains video=lxfb:... I tried several resolution combination. One seems to be satisfying with video=lxfb:720x400...@75 vga=788 seems to be /almost/ good, while both tui and gui screens fits in large but... *fits not in height* : they are expanded regarding the lists line count. adding directfb=true, also tried vga 1152x768 vga mode with according lxfb fits out of screen in both directions. classic 800x600 video mode passed to video=lxfb: have same problem. however, the kernel doc I found on lxfb module is really uncomplete while the possibles values combinations are not given. I didn't notice how to force installer dimensions in D-I manual. Have anyone a solution to fix installer height ? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
