Hello, I wonder if it would be possible to add the line
serial 0 to the debian-installer syslinux config? This should not affect the common desktop installation at all, and it is absolutely necessary for headless server installations depending on serial console. I have noted the "wontfix" bug #309223, so I won't add another bug report for this request. But I would appreciate it if someone could explain to me what good leaving that line out... The patch is obvious, but here it is anyway:
