Package: base Version: N/A; reported 2001-11-14 Severity: important I installed debian today from the idepci install files I downloaded off the debian website. after debian had been installed it had not set localhost - ping 127.0.0.1 works, ping localhost doesn't and causes a dns lookup which obviously fails.
