Success after 4th (or so) try. This time I used the torrent file: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/6.0.0-live/amd64/bt-hybrid/debian-live-6.0.0-amd64-gnome-desktop.iso.torrent/debian-live-6.0.0-amd64-gnome-desktop.iso
I used the same DVD burner (ImgBurn), so either the other downloads got corrupted as part of the download process, or perhaps there was a problem with the files themselves, which I suspect is not likely, as I'm sure they are fully tested before being uploading to the debian site. I could go back and check the MD5, in case there is an error, if that would be helpful feedback. Thanks for the quick response and the help. That sounds like a corrupted media. Have you tried burning the ISO on another support...maybe using another CD/DVD burner?
