sorry to say, but did you check when this report was opened? The log files are _waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay_ gone. The machine I not available for a reinstallation. Anyway, I had hoped that this problem would be fixed for Squeeze, since this problem makes Debian appear to be very slow on modern hardware. The next release is in 2 years, so time will tell.
