Hi I just did cat .iso > /dev/sde
I used: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/6.0.1a/amd64/iso-cd/debian-6.0.1a-amd64-CD-1.iso and http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/6.0.1a/amd64/iso-cd/debian-6.0.1a-amd64-netinst.iso My usb stick seems vanilla mas storage device. Should I try with a different one? I observed that the scsi disk is not detected even after modprobing usb-storage inside the debian installer shell. Pedro.
