We are currently at Debconf working on a patch for your package and will probably submit it tomorrow. We want to ask you if you would agree to an NMU for this. This is quite urgent for us because the libnl3-udeb has to enter the archive first so that we can build wpasupplicant against it and then the d-i component (netcfg) against the wpasupplicant-udeb. Our patch will modify your CDBS rules file to use the CDBS flavour functionality to build a special version for the udeb. For this to work we also need a patch from the upstream git repository to be able to build the library outside of the source tree.
