Package: boot-floppies Version: 3.0.17 Severity: normal When attempting to install from a hard disk on a Cube with the boot floppies from the current archive the kernel appears to fail to init the framebuffer. After the early boot messages (the ones displayed using OpenFirmware) finish the display remains unchanged
Replacing the kernel with a current benh rsync one allowed startup to proceed but the installer then denied the existance of my hard disk despite the fact that the kernel was quite happy with it.
