Package: debootstrap Version: 1.0.39 Severity: important
libept upgraded recently its package and it creates an issue with debootstrap (it fails). debootstrap loads important priority packages but libept1 and libept1.4.12 both have "priority: important" set. However libept1 is not compatible with libapt-pkg4.12 which is the current version used. debootstrap loads both packages, though only libept1.4.12 should be loaded. This results in W: Failure while configuring base packages I added some info in bug #472704 but created this one as an independant bug after analysis. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages debootstrap depends on: ii wget 1.13.4-2 retrieves files from the web Versions of packages debootstrap recommends: ii debian-archive-keyring 2010.08.28 GnuPG archive keys of the Debian a ii gnupg 1.4.12-4 GNU privacy guard - a free PGP rep debootstrap suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
