I am seeing this behavior as well, and it makes installing Debian with my wireless keyboard and mouse impossible.
The keyboard and mouse work fine when the system is up and running under wheezy. However, I wanted to reinstall wheezy, but cannot because the keyboard and mouse do not work in the installer. When the system is up and running, I see that the hid_logitech_dj module is loaded.
