UNetbootin produces its own menu from a Debian iso.  Considering some of
the menu items may not function (Help, for example), your suspicions are
likely well-founded.

The message is out there for people writing an isohybrid to a USB device
under Linux. My impression is that more and more of them are using
cp/dd/cat. There is no message given to those who want to use the same
technique under other OSs, such as Windows.
