The problem appeared after the installation, when I tried to use the USB flash memory.
In fact the question is more "Why were those three lines generated in the /etc/fstab file". Commenting them out fixed the problem, without any addition of package (one can find a lot of opinions when browsing the web about similar problem !) As mentionned in the first mail, I most probably left some USB flash connected on their ports while installing wheezy from the CD. As a first approach I tried to change the access rights and ownership of the files on the USB flash, but could not, even under root (!?); maybe I did something wrong. Here below the access rights : root? root? ls -l /dev/sdb* brw-rw---T 1 root floppy 8, 16 jan 4 16:46 /dev/sdb brw-rw---T 1 root floppy 8, 17 jan 4 16:46 /dev/sdb1 brw-rw---T 1 root floppy 8, 18 jan 4 16:46 /dev/sdb2 brw-rw---T 1 root floppy 8, 19 jan 4 16:46 /dev/sdb3 root? root? ls -l /media total 44 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 6 déc 23 17:27 cdrom -> cdrom0 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 déc 23 17:27 cdrom0 drwx------ 12 user1 user1 32768 jan 1 1970 DEBIAN_LIVE drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 déc 31 00:49 usb0 drwx------ 6 user1 user1 4096 jan 1 1970 wk root? root? id user1 uid=1000(user1) gid=1000(user1) groupes=1000(user1),24(cdrom),25(floppy),29(audio),30(dip),44(video),46(plugdev),103(scanner),106(netdev) root? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
