Package: grub-installer
Severity: normal

Hi.

I'm trying to install Debian on an IDE image of a KVM / libvirt / virt-manager
which has a second (SCSI) drive configured, containing an image of a
single-partition disk containing a Windows 7 system.

While the installer runs the grub-install.postinst, it stays stuck on the
progress bar.

The stuck process seems an ls on /var/lib/os-prober/mount (IIRC) spawned from
the 20microsoft script, trying to detect a microsoft OS on the ntfs partition
(/dev/sdb1).

It may happen that the ntfs is not clean, which may explain some mounting
issues...

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
