Thanks for your attention. But I'm afraid I think you may have made a mistake with this particular bug. It wasn't an installation report. It was a request for a specific change in the software. I imagine that someone familiar with the code structure would be able to quickly see whether it was still relevant. I see no reason to think that it isn't. I also hope that my report contains enough information to find the relevant code and make the change I request. I'm afraid I can't easily reproduce this problem, but it does still sometimes happen with squeeze. I haven't yet upgraded the environment which (occasionally) experiences the bug to wheezy.
