Package: boot-floppies Version: N/A; reported 2001-12-26 Severity: important
When trying to install the base packages using the network, a few packages are downloaded and then the install program hangs for a few minutes and finally says that the last package tried is currupt. Looking at the package file, the last one has a length of zero bytes. The only way that I could get this install to complete was to periodically kill the debootstrap process. Once the base system was installed tediously 2-3 packages at a time, I have had no problems downloading packages with apt-get. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
