Package: debian-installer ... after selecting packages (e.g., desktop manager). For an example, I was using debian-8.2.0-amd64-netinst.iso to install into a VirtualBox v5.0.12...'s virtual machine (VM) with 8 GB of disk space (using its default /var, swap, and /home setup). The installers (text and GUI) failed quickly after selecting packages to install.
I recently mentioned this issue in my http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=126247&p=602529 forum thread when I had problems installing, but people said that users should know this in advance. To me, this is a bad user experience (UX) and not friendly to newbies to use Debian. :( Thank you in advance. :) Best regards, Ant
