Package: debian-installer Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, please enable installing Debian with full-disk encryption including /boot. now that grub has its cryptomount feature, debian should support full-disk encryption without a separate/unencrypted partition for /boot and thereby reduce attack surface for evil maid attacks.
so far the debian installer doesn't let me proceed with the installation unless /boot is unencrypted. this doesn't even let me do it manually without a separate /boot partition. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) ---- Sent using GuerrillaMail.com Block or report abuse: https://www.guerrillamail.com/abuse/?a=UlR2CAQUY7YAjx369HsdexXJA8WC1Q%3D%3D
