I made a patch to fblogo: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=132426&repeatmerged=yes That creates a debian-logo kernel patch. It look like Gordon (fblogo maintainer) may package it separately. A kernel-patch is probably a fairly safe way of getting all official Debian kernels to use the logo.
