Hello, I just discovered that we distribute the source twice: the tarball as source package and almost the same tarball in the binary package. Does this make sense? People willing to work on BFs should be able to fetch the source package. IMO we should remove the tarball from the binary package and put a reference to the source package into README.Debian.
