Situation I'm in is with physical servers that hang at grub installation. The remote console (DRAC/ILO/RSA) goes through RDP / ICA that block "ALT-F2" tty switch. If network console ( https://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/NetworkConsole ) is started, would that give access to a debug TTY? Or would it bring only the "ALT-F1 content" that is already seen?
