Package: flash-kernel Version: 3.35+deb8u3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
The Bootloader-sets-root field was renamed to Bootloader-Sets-Root in https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/flash-kernel/-/commit/343eeb3f642c3f4b4cc4ec6591bfa3b6164b8dc7 . It was then renamed/changed to Bootloader-Sets-Incorrect-Root in https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/flash-kernel/-/commit/850c8fc323bbab52a6264035d11edd372ce2596f with a fallback mechanism for Bootloader-Sets-Root, but there's no fallback for Bootloader-sets-root (and the code is case-sensitive). This resulted in a non-booting system for me after upgading from Debian Wheezy (with a custom device description). -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.11 APT prefers oldoldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldoldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldoldstable') Architecture: armel (armv5tel) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-0.bpo.4-orion5x Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages flash-kernel depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.56+deb8u1 ii devio 1.2-1+b1 ii initramfs-tools 0.120+deb8u3 ii linux-base 4.5~deb8u1 ii mtd-utils 1:1.5.1-1 ii ucf 3.0030 Versions of packages flash-kernel recommends: ii u-boot-tools 2014.10+dfsg1-5 flash-kernel suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded
