I do this exact thing,I create a LV named DELETEME, and in the late command I add the lvremove -f /dev...
The logs show a message from lvremove, that it removed the LV, in ps the lvremove command stil runs, never exits.
I even backgrounded it to init `(lvremove&)&`, to no avail. Kind regards, Arjen
