The forum says that it is due to owener. I used debian mirror created with apt-mirror more than 15 years simply by copying the directory onto my local web-server. Even it was very easy to configure BootP server with mini.iso to make easy debian install over net to any workstation connected to our isolated laboratory network. The last year I cannot set it up. Even I am in respect to security improvements, I suppose it should be possible to disable it in our lab where there is no public Internet connection, I would like to replicate the debian mirror with minimum necessary steps. In nearly past, it was sufficient to add deb [trusted=yes] http://local.server.intra/debian ... and could even include the complete mirror onto my laptop harddisk using: deb [trusted=yes] file:///var/debian ... I can highly appreciate any advice or hints how to do it easy or automate it, because maintaining the debian mirror is not my main occupation in our lab. dr. Jan Weber
