Sorry this took a while, I took a couple of days off work to get my boat ready for summer. Anyway: I don't have /usr/share/doc/pmcia-modules* on my machine! However, a coworker did the same install I did on his identical laptop. This time we got the orinoco card working by switching to a second console and doing "modprobe orinoco_cs" (this was the card missing from the driver list), so the driver was there but not the listing. Since he was able to install via the pccard we also saw that no "auto eth" line wound up in /etc/interfaces. So it seems all is well, save for the missing menu-item. We used the regular bootfloppies (not the bf2.4 ones). Again, thanks for taking time to help me with this! /patrik > > Matt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
