Is there already some kind of rsyslog on d-i ?
Here's my reasoning:
* On a "lights off" site, using IPMI , one can start an automated iPXE
install with all preseeding working.,
although in this case the d-i console/logs is lost if not redirected.,
* There is no serial console installed,. just network connection. and
since there is no "ssh screen" or anything
running d-i ., this comes to be harder than it needs to be.
