That's not a bug, that's just how life goes ;-) You used a snapshot image from ports, and for building them, current packages versions from unstable (or maybe testing?) are used. And there, the French translation is not fully up-to-date, means the text you are seing in English, is just not translated into French, and therefore English is used as the fallback.
