Dear deboostrap Maintainers, would you consider backporting debootstrap to trixie so that newer Ubuntu releases would be made available to tools such as autopkgtest?
In particular, autopkgtest-build-qemu seems to need it. For example, the
following command (eventually) fails because the symlink for resolute is
missing. It was added in 1.4.2.
$ sudo autopkgtest-build-qemu resolute resolute-amd64.img
