I am working on fixing (or getting fixed) all the broken links in the
documentation for woody. The latest doc build fixes a lot of links
and the number is now manageable.

There are links in in every file of the form
http://www.debian.org/releases/woody/<arch>/release-notes/ch-upgrading.??.html
to
http://http.us.debian.org/debian/dists/woody//main/upgrade-<arch>/

As near as I can tell the 'woody/' in the links need to be replaced
with 'potato'. Either that or someone has the intention of creating
the upgrade directories for woody. Either way, there is an extra '/'
in url and the following change should be made in release-notes.*sgml.
Change:
id="&disturl;/main/upgrade-&architecture;/">
to
id="&disturl;main/upgrade-&architecture;/">

I am not subscribed to debian-boot so please CC me on any replies.
