While installing Debian woody from HTTP on an iBook, using either the
powermac or new-powermac images (versions from 02-Apr-2002), the
installation fails to read rescue.bin mounted as a loopback device and
issue the following error:
"can't read /floppy/type.txt"
Escaping to the shell shows that /floppy is mounted, the list of files
seems correct, but a cat on one of them gives a "read: Input/output error".
This seems similar to bug #135626 which symptom has suddenly disapeared!
