I installed new-powermac this morning, including partitioning,
several modules, base (from pre-downloaded basedebs), reboot,
base config, and installation of all standard packages -
in less than half an hour.

Of course, I've had a little practice :-)

The only things I noticed were some error messages from packages,
I'll file bugs on those packages. Mostly packages stomping on
each other's files.

Of course, we still don't leave the user with working email -
but that's life in the big city.

[crackle, hiss] "powerpc boot-floppies, go?"

Go!
