hey vadim i'm booting from reiserfs, and this works fine, 1st check content of /etc/fstab and verify that your root partition is defined as reiserfs :
/dev/hda4 / reiserfs noatime,nodiratime,notail,defaults 0 0 then, i think you should recompile kernel with reiserfs support. I have do it by hand, and that works.
