Package: boot-floppies Version: 20020503 Severity: wishlist In the recent case where I needed to fetch the working base-config because the archive held a buggy one, I encountered a rather pathetic difficulty: there is no easy-to-use way to download a file from the base system. (I could have configure apt, but that would be, um, way overkill at that stage.) I chose to copy the package onto a floppy and use that.
