install-method: ftp/http install-url: http://ftp.de.debian.org proxy: none install-lang: de modconf: epic100 boot-method after install: floppy after normal installation of the base-system and a normal reboot, I configured the usual things: timesettings: gmt: no; region: europe; city: berlin password-settings: md5: no; shadow: yes setting password for root creating a user and setting the password after this all, the configure-script entered a endless loop, starting again at the time-settings and password-settings with the previous selections as default. As I thouth I did something wrong, I made a new install - with the same result. Only by killing the configure-script from another console, I could proceed to the exim-configuration. Of course after killing the configure-script, here wher a few errormessages, but the system seems to work. Only apt-setup did not work, so I had to edit /etc/apt/sources.list manualy.
