Today I received (only for one day) an IBM powerpc P43-140 with a ppc
604e @233Mhz, two SCSI discs, floppy, CDROM, 128Mb RAM.

I tried a debian install using the latest boot floppyes but the system
did not start. I selected the diskette as first boot device using the
SMS menu but when booting I see the floppy light on for a while and
then the machine select the second boot device (a SCSI disk) and boot.

The floppy I used is the one from 3.0.22, CHRP.

Do you have anything that would like to try on these machine?

Bye,
