The file: /debian/pool/main/g/glibc/libc6_2.2.5-6_i386.deb is corrupt.  Then 
all I can do is hit 'continue' and it drops back to the screen where I start 
the base install.

Maybe the floppy image is bad?  Or maybe my copy is bad.  I used new disks 
and NTRawrite.  I could try making new disks and doing it again.
